SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number __1____ to SENATE BILL 452

1. On page 2, strike lines 24 and 25.

2. On page 3, strike lines 1 through 4 and strike line five through "application" and insert in lieu thereof:

"C. Application".

3. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

4. On page 3, line 5, after "shall" insert "contain all information required by the commission to make its determination,".

5. On page 3, line 6, after "and" insert "be".

6. On page 3, line 9, after the period insert "The commission may condition its approval upon a demonstration by the applicant that it has received all necessary air and water quality permits.".

7. On page 5, line 11, strike the period and insert in lieu thereof "; provided, however, that the commission may extend the time for granting approval for a transmission line that is subject to this section for an additional ten months upon finding that the additional time is necessary to determine if the proposed location of the line will unduly impair important environmental values.".

8. On page 6, strike lines 4 through 12 and strike line 13 through "application" and insert in lieu thereof:

"C. Application".

9. Reletter the succeeding subsections accordingly.

10. On page 6, line 14, after "shall" insert "contain all information required by the commission to make its determination,".
