Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 10, between lines 10 and 11, insert the following:

"C. No causes of action, tort claims, lawsuits or civil actions of any kind may be brought against any physician or practitioner as a result of that physician's or practitioner's compliance with any portion of this act, or as a result of acting on the recommendation of a surrogate under the provisions of this act.",

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
