Mr. President:

Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 3, line 3, after "assign" strike the remainder of the line, strike line 4 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "domestic violence cases among the judges in such a manner as to ensure that such cases are heard as quickly as possible".

2. On page 3, lines 24 and 25, strike "one hundred fifty-six thousand five hundred dollars ($156,500)" and insert in lieu thereof "two hundred sixty-three thousand five hundred forty-four dollars ($263,544)".

3. On page 4, lines 4 and 5, strike "three hundred eight thousand eight hundred dollars ($308,800)" and insert in lieu thereof "one hundred fifty-six thousand five hundred dollars ($156,500)".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
