AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELING FOR THE CUDEII CHAPTER HOUSE LOCATED IN SAN JUAN COUNTY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2002 to contract for substance abuse counseling, including counseling provided by traditional practitioners and counselors, for the Cudeii chapter house located in San Juan county. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
