SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number _______ to SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR SENATE BILL 709

Amendment sponsored by Senator

1. On page 6, line 6, after "parties" insert ", unless they agree otherwise," and on line 8, strike "unless the parties agree otherwise".

2. On page 6, between lines 8 and 9, insert the following new subsection:

"C. Nothing in a grant of right of way shall operate to diminish or be construed to operate to diminish the jurisdiction of the Navajo Nation over the right of way except as expressly provided in the grant of right of way to the department.".

3. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.
