REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE MESCALERO APACHE TRIBE IN MESCALERO

IN OTERO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan and design a senior center, including rooms for intergenerational activities, for the Mescalero Apache tribe in Mescalero in Otero county; and

to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

one hundred forty-five thousand dollars ($145,000) to construct and equip the Elk-Silver water treatment system for the Mescalero Apache tribe in Mescalero in Otero county; and

one hundred fifteen thousand five hundred dollars ($115,500) to improve the sewer system infrastructure for the Mescalero Apache tribe in Mescalero in Otero county.
