45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN OTERO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state highway and transportation department

three hundred ninety-three thousand five hundred twenty-five dollars ($393,525) to construct drainage culverts to convey flood waters from La Luz and Laborcita canyons under Riata road in Otero county; and

five million dollars ($5,000,000) to construct a relief route connector at Indian Wells road in Otero county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to plan, design and construct a road shop facility in Otero county; and

three million dollars ($3,000,000) to plan, design and construct a juvenile detention center in Otero county.
