REQUESTED BY

FOR A REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO CREATE A MAJOR CONVENTION AND EXPOSITION

SITE AND FOR TRAIN RESTORATION IN ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

one million five hundred thousand dollars ($1,500,000) for phases 2 and 3 restoration of the historic Santa Fe steam locomotive number 2926, which will be housed at the Albuquerque Santa Fe rail yards, for the Wheels museum in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to plan, design and engineer the attractions and museum components of a major exposition and convention center site for the Wheels museum in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
