SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 292

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE TAOS MUNICIPAL SCHOOL DISTRICT IN TAOS COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state department of public education

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) for district-wide capital outlay needs at Taos municipal school district in Taos county;

one million dollars ($1,000,000) for a feasibility study, design and construction of a performing arts center and classrooms for the Taos municipal school district in Taos county; and

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for an elevator that complies with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 for Taos high school in the Taos municipal school district in Taos county.
