FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state highway and transportation department

ten million dollars ($10,000,000) for planning, designing, right-of-way acquisition and construction of a four-lane highway on United States highway 64/87 from Clayton to Raton in Union and Colfax counties;

twelve million dollars ($12,000,000) for planning, designing, right-of-way acquisition and construction of United States highway 666 in McKinley and San Juan counties;

eight million dollars ($8,000,000) for planning, designing, right-of-way acquisition and construction of the southwest loop in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

five million dollars ($5,000,000) for planning, designing, right-of-way acquisition and construction of the interstate 25 interchange at Richards avenue in Santa Fe in Santa Fe county;

five million dollars ($5,000,000) for planning, designing, right-of-way acquisition and construction of United States highway 70 between Ruidoso and Riverside in Lincoln county;

eight million dollars ($8,000,000) to plan, design and construct an extension of University boulevard to Mesa del Sol in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

two million dollars ($2,000,000) for landscaping the interstates 25 and 40 interchange in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county, contingent on receiving an equal match from the city of Albuquerque.
