FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS FOR THE PUEBLO OF TAOS IN TAOS COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs

fifty-seven thousand dollars ($57,000) to plan, design and construct a transfer station for the utility service at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to expand the tribal court and program complex at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

five hundred seventy-one thousand dollars ($571,000) to purchase equipment and transportation for the roads department at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for site development, planning and designing of a building for the department of public safety at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

one hundred twelve thousand dollars ($112,000) to make phase 1 improvements, including purchasing of portable offices and constructing a new foundation, for the educational facility at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to construct an office building for the Taos pueblo housing program in the pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

four hundred forty-four thousand three hundred ten dollars ($447,310) for planning, designing, constructing, equipping and furnishing a community center with exercise rooms for the diabetes project at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county;

fifty-seven thousand dollars ($57,000) to make improvements, including constructing a holding pen and purchasing equipment, for the bison management program at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county; and

two hundred forty-eight thousand eleven dollars ($248,011) to purchase equipment for the conservation program of the department of agriculture at the pueblo of Taos in Taos county.
