SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 112

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - FIRST SESSION - 2001

REQUESTED BY

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN MORA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

to the state agency on aging

ninety-two thousand dollars ($92,000) to construct a carport for the senior center in Mora county; and

one hundred ninety-five thousand dollars ($195,000) to expand and improve the senior center in Mora county;

to the state highway and transportation department

seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) for constructing an overlay to Las Aguitas road in Mora county;

fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to design and construct erosion protection for roads in Mora county; and

to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for equipment for the sheriff's department in Mora county;

fifty-two thousand dollars ($52,000) for vehicles for the sheriff's department in Mora county;

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to purchase equipment for the road department in Mora county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for a corrections facility in Mora county;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to construct, including setting up and paving, a metal building to enclose the convenience center in Mora county; and

forty-five thousand dollars ($45,000) to install fire hydrants in Mora county.
