     Synopsis of HGUAC Amendment



HB 522/HGUACS/aHGUAC changes the requirements for a quorum from three to four members.



Synopsis of Substitute Bill



The changes the number of members on the Environmental Improvement Board from five to seven members. No more that four members can be appointed from any political party.



Significant Issues



The Environmental Improvement Board is a small Board with only five members and there is a continuing risk of not obtaining a quorum due to scheduling or other types of conflicts..
