Synopsis of Bill



House Bill 791 appropriates $55.0 to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for youth learning programs in the town of Taos.



Significant Issues



The programs will provide prevention programs in classrooms to help students. Programs will address substance abuse, sexual responsibility, and violence prevention for students in grades 6 through 8.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



House Bill 791 appropriates $55.0 from the general fund and is recurring.



ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS



The local government division of the department of finance and administration would distribute the funding to the town of Taos.
