SUMMARY

Synopsis of Bill

House Joint Memorial 79 requests the Advisory Council on Workers' Compensation and Occupational Disease Disablement make presentations regarding its recommended changes to the Workers' Compensation Act to both the LFC and Legislative Council at their November meetings, and to any other interim committee as designated by the Legislative Council.

Significant Issues

The WCA indicates it believes the Advisory Council would appreciate the enhanced access to the Legislature as proposed in HJM79.
