Synopsis of Original Bill

Senate Bill 16 increases the maximum compensation for members of precinct boards, from $7.00/hr to $125.00/election day.

Significant Issues

According to the agency, recruitment of precinct board members is difficult and an increase in compensation will help their recruitment efforts.

FISCAL IMPLICATIONS
