Synopsis of Bill



Senate Bill 183 amends the Election Code by adding a section that requires ballots to not permit a voter to vote a straight party ticket in a general election. In addition, the bill provides for electronic voting machines to not be programmed for straight party ticket voting in a general election.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



There in no appropriation or significant fiscal implications associated with the bill.
