SUMMARY



Synopsis of Bill



Senate Bill 529 appropriates $25.0 from the general fund to the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration for the purpose of providing for the promotion, marketing, management and development of a market center in the city of Socorro. The market center will be where the people of the Alamo Chapter of the Navajo Nation can market crafts and educate the public about Navajo traditions.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



The appropriation of $25.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
