SUMMARY



Synopsis of Bill



Senate Bill 708 appropriates $28.0 from the general fund to the New Mexico Office of Indian Affairs for the purpose of contracting for substance abuse counseling for the Cudeii Chapter House, located in San Juan county. The bill provides that the counseling will include traditional practitioners and counselors.



FISCAL IMPLICATIONS



The appropriation of $28.0 contained in this bill is a recurring expense to the general fund. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2002 shall revert to the general fund.
