SUMMARY

 

Senate Bill 7 appropriates $1,000.0 to the Office of Indian Affairs for expenditure in Fiscal Year 2003 to contract for market surveys and economic feasibility assessments of the twenty chapters in the eastern agency of the Navajo Nation. 

    

Synopsis of Bill

 

Senate Bill 7 appropriates $1,000.0 from the GENERAL FUND to The Office of Indian Affairs for the purpose of contracting for market surveys and economic feasibility assessments of the twenty chapters in the eastern agency of the Navajo Nation.

 

 FISCAL IMPLICATIONS

 

The appropriation of $1,000.0 contained in this bill is a NON-RECURRING expense to the GENERAL FUND. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of FISCAL YEAR 2003 shall revert to the GENERAL FUND.

 

ADMINISTRATIVE IMPLICATIONS

 

The Office of Indian Affairs has capacity to administer this contract.
