Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, lines 11 and 12, strike "BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO ESTABLISH A CERTIFICATE PROGRAM" and insert in lieu thereof "HISTORIC PRESERVATION DIVISION OF THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS TO CONTRACT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS".

2. On page 1, lines 13 and 14, strike "AT THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO".

3. On page 1, lines 18 and 19, strike "board of regents of the university of New Mexico" and insert in lieu thereof "historic preservation division of the office of cultural affairs".

4. On page 1, line 20, strike "establish a certificate program" and insert in lieu thereof "contract for the development of educational programs".

5. On page 1, lines 21 and 22, strike "at the university of New Mexico".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
