MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE FOURTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT ATTORNEY FOR BUDGET EXPANSION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred two thousand six hundred fifty-seven dollars ($202,657) is appropriated from the general fund to the fourth judicial district attorney for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 for a victim advocate and a senior trial prosecutor and for phase 2 of the salary upgrade plan. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
