Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 12, strike the semicolon and on page 1, line 13, strike "MAKING AN APPROPRIATION".

2. On page 2, line 14, after "the" insert "school".

3. On page 3, line 12, after "the" strike the remainder of the line and insert in lieu thereof "2003-2004, 2004-2005 and 2005-2006 school years, a school".

4. On page 3, line 13, after "shall" insert "not".

5. On page 3, line 14, after "in" strike the remainder of the line up to the period and insert in lieu thereof "fiscal year 2001".

6. On page 3, strike Section 2 in its entirety.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
