MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT FOR ADDITIONAL FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred two thousand six hundred dollars ($702,600) is appropriated from the general fund to the third judicial district court for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to provide salaries and benefits for thirteen additional full-time employees, including clerks, systems analysts, administrative assistants, counselors, court monitors, probation officers, bailiffs and domestic violence commissioners. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
