AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN CULINARY ARTS TO HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUTS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars

($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 for a municipality with a population of at least three hundred fifty thousand for a program to educate and train high school dropouts in culinary arts skills. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
