AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH NEW MEXICO CAPITAL PROJECTS SUB-OFFICES IN CROWNPOINT AND SHIPROCK.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2003 to contract to establish and operate capital projects sub-offices to oversee capital projects on the Navajo Nation funded with appropriations from New Mexico. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2003 shall revert to the general fund.
