45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Richard D. Vigil

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN THE LAS VEGAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

two hundred forty thousand dollars ($240,000) to plan, design, construct, equip and furnish classroom additions for a dual language program at Los Ninos elementary school in the Las Vegas city public school district in San Miguel county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to construct improvements to, equip and furnish the central office in the Las Vegas city public school district in San Miguel county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase heavy equipment for the Las Vegas city public school district in San Miguel county.
