STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Richard D. Vigil

FOR HOUSE DISTRICT 70 WATER, WASTEWATER AND ACEQUIA SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

twenty-one thousand dollars ($21,000) for improvements to the Gabaldon mutual domestic water consumers association water system in San Miguel county; and

four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to install a new well, distribution lines, storage tank, pump station and well house for the P.U. Gallegos mutual domestic water consumers association in San Miguel county; and

• to the office of the state engineer

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for a hydrologic study to develop a plan to address the water resources available in San Miguel county;

twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for acequia improvements for the El Pueblo acequia association in San Miguel county;

twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) for improvements to the acequia system for acequia de Los Gonzales in Lovato in San Miguel county; and

one hundred ninety thousand dollars ($190,000) for ditch improvements to the Los Trigos ditch association in La Puebla in San Miguel county.
