45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Dona G. Irwin

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN DEMING IN LUNA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

two hundred twenty-six thousand dollars ($226,000) to extend Cedar street in Deming in Luna county;

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) to plan, design and construct the motor vehicle department and site in Deming in Luna county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to renovate and furnish the library in Deming in Luna county; and

• to the state department of public education

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for improvements to the library at Columbus elementary school in the Deming public school district in Luna county; and

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) for improvements to the septic system at Sunshine elementary school in the Deming public school district in Luna county.
