45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY James Roger Madalena

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT INDEPENDENCE HIGH SCHOOL IN THE RIO RANCHO PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state department of public education

twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for site improvements, including parking lot paving, landscaping and irrigation, at Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) for the science and technology laboratory at Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county;

fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) for educational technology at Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county; and

three thousand dollars ($3,000) to purchase encyclopedias for Independence high school in the Rio Rancho public school district in Sandoval county.
