FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS AT LUNA VOCATIONAL-TECHNICAL INSTITUTE IN LAS VEGAS IN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY AND ITS SATELLITE CAMPUSES IN SPRINGER IN COLFAX COUNTY AND SANTA ROSA IN GUADALUPE COUNTY.

 

 

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

 

to the governing board of Luna vocational-technical institute

 

six hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($635,000) to construct the instructional programs center's health care training facility at Luna vocational-technical institute in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

 

one million seven hundred eighty-nine thousand dollars ($1,789,000) to make infrastructure improvements to the underground electrical distribution and energy management system at Luna vocational-technical institute in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

 

one million one hundred fifty-eight thousand four hundred fifty-eight dollars ($1,158,458) to remodel the business occupations building at Luna vocational-technical institute in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

 

five hundred sixteen thousand five hundred thirty-six dollars ($516,536) to remodel the vocational-agriculture building at Luna vocational-technical institute in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

 

five hundred twenty-six thousand dollars ($526,000) to remodel the building trades building at Luna vocational-technical institute in Las Vegas in San Miguel county;

 

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to make improvements to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 at Luna vocational-technical institute in Las Vegas in San Miguel county and its satellite campuses in Springer in Colfax county and Santa Rosa in Guadalupe county; and

 

eight million one hundred eighty-three thousand five hundred eighty-seven dollars ($8,183,587) for deferred maintenance at Luna vocational-technical institute in Las Vegas in San Miguel county and its satellite campuses in Springer in Colfax county and Santa Rosa in Guadalupe county.
