SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 125

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Carroll H. Leavell

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN THE CARLSBAD SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT IN EDDY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the board of regents of New Mexico state university

seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) to make improvements to the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district facility, including compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, in Eddy county; and

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for flood control renovation in the Hackberry draw watershed district in the Carlsbad soil and water conservation district in Eddy county.
