SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 205

STATE OF NEW MEXICO

45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE ROOSEVELT COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

three hundred fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) for phase 1 improvements to the youth pavilion, including repairs, additions and electrical upgrades, at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds;

one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to upgrade and replace the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and install kitchen facilities and pedestrian lighting at the multipurpose facility at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds;

thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to construct restroom facilities at the special events and rodeo arena at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds;

two hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($225,000) to repair and chip seal the parking lots and the midway at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds; and

two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for phase 2 improvements at the youth pavilion, including restroom additions, a concession area and flooring at the Roosevelt county fairgrounds.
