45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY Leonard Lee Rawson

FOR UTILITY AND WASTE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES IN SIERRA COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the department of environment

one million four hundred thousand dollars ($1,400,000) to construct municipal water storage tanks, refurbish existing tanks and upgrade the water distribution system in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to purchase a scraper for use at the solid waste landfill in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county;

five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to upgrade the electric service distribution system in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county; and

one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase a rear-loading sanitation vehicle for solid waste in Truth or Consequences in Sierra county.
