FOR PURCHASING WATER RIGHTS FROM THE SAN JUAN RIVER FOR USE BY THE CITY OF GALLUP IN MCKINLEY COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

• to the office of the state engineer

one million dollars ($1,000,000) to purchase water rights for the San Juan river for use by the city of Gallup through the Navajo-Gallup water pipeline in McKinley county.
