SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS
IN DEMING IN LUNA COUNTY .
I request that the following capital
outlay projects be funded:
• to the state highway and transportation department
three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000)
to pave the industrial park to provide for a truck route to interstate 10 in
Deming in Luna county;
one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars
($125,000) for a study to allow construction of a truck bypass route in Deming
in Luna county; and
two hundred twenty-six thousand dollars
($226,000) to construct the extension of Cedar street in Deming in Luna county;
• to the local government division of the
department of finance and administration
one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars
($125,000) for a permanent enclosure for the therapy pool in Deming in Luna
county;
two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000)
to construct a community facility and events area in Deming in Luna county; and
two hundred fifty thousand dollars
($250,000) to construct the expansion of and to renovate the library in Deming
in Luna county; and
•
to the motor vehicle division of the taxation and revenue department
three hundred fifty thousand dollars
($350,000) to acquire a site and to construct a building for the motor vehicle
department of the taxation and revenue department in Deming in Luna county.
