45TH LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION - 2002

REQUESTED BY John Arthur Smith

FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN LORDSBURG IN HIDALGO COUNTY.

I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

• to the state highway and transportation department

three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for street improvements in Lordsburg in Hidalgo county; and

• to the local government division of the department of finance and administration

two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to purchase public safety equipment for Lordsburg in Hidalgo county; and

one hundred twenty-five thousand dollars ($125,000) to purchase vehicles for the police department in Lordsburg in Hidalgo county.
