     Synopsis of Bill

 

House Joint Memorial 63 requests the SDE to design procedures to allow school to meet paperwork requirements for the accountability system without adversely affecting an educator’s “time to teach.”

 

     Significant Issues

 

According to SDE, collection and reporting of information for the state’s accountability system has been designed as a district level responsibility and would only impact teacher time through duties assigned by district administrators.
