AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION IN SUPPORT OF THE SANTA FE FARMERS' MARKET; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-one thousand dollars ($121,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal years 2003 and 2004 for planning and developing a permanent farmers' market site on the city of Santa Fe railyard property in Santa Fe. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.

Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
