AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO LIVESTOCK BOARD FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING INSPECTIONS OF SLAUGHTERED LIVESTOCK AND GAME ANIMALS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico livestock board for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for the purpose of making inspections of slaughtered livestock and game animals pursuant to the provisions of The Livestock Code. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
