AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND MEDICATION EVALUATIONS AND PHARMACIST CLINICAL SERVICES FOR SENIORS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state agency on aging for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to conduct a pilot project to provide medication evaluations and pharmacist clinical services to seniors and to develop and implement collection and aggregate data reporting on the effectiveness and benefit of this service to seniors. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
