AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD AND ELEMENTARY EDUCATION BACHELOR'S DEGREE COMPLETION PROGRAMS THROUGH THE GRANTS CAMPUS OF NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to provide bachelor's degree completion programs in early childhood and elementary education in collaboration with the Grants-Cibola county schools, the pueblos of Laguna and Acoma and the Grants campus of New Mexico state university. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
