AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO DEVELOP PRESCRIPTION DRUG EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state agency on aging for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for the purpose of developing prescription drug education and outreach programs to promote understanding, awareness and therapeutic consultation between patients, physicians and pharmacists. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
