Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, line 14, after "APPROVAL" strike the remainder of the line and on line 15 strike "SECTION 82".

2. On page 2, line 13, delete the brackets and line through and strike the word "fifty".

3. On page 6, line 7, strike "best" and insert in lieu thereof "most".

4. On page 6, strike line 13 in its entirety and on line 14 strike "section" and insert in lieu thereof "wet/dry cooling, and use of produced or degraded water".

5. On page 6, line 16, strike "C" and insert in lieu thereof "B".

6. On page 6, strike lines 18 through 25 in their entirety.

7. Strike all of page 7 and on page 8 strike lines 1 through 7 in their entirety.

8. On page 8, line 8, strike the subsection designation "C" and insert in lieu thereof "B".

9. On page 8, line 20, after the semicolon insert "and".

10. On page 8, line 22, strike "best" and insert in lieu thereof "most".

11. On page 8, line 24, strike "; and" and insert in lieu thereof a period.

12. On page 8, strike line 25 in its entirety.

13. Strike pages 9, 10 and 11 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof a new Subsection C to read:

"C. The requirements of this section apply only to electric power generating plants placed into service on or after January 1, 2003."".,

and thence referred to the JUDICIARY COMMITTEE.
