SENATE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___1___ to SENATE BILL 186, as amended

1. Strike Senate Finance Committee Amendment 2.

2. On page 18, line 2, strike "The" and strike lines 3 and 4 in their entirety.

3. On page 18, between lines 2 and 3, insert a new Subsection C as follows:

"C. A nurse who practices nursing in New Mexico pursuant

to a multistate licensure privilege as provided in the Nurse Licensure Compact who wishes to cease practicing in the state shall notify the board in writing of the date upon which the nurse will no longer practice."".
