Your PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

1. On page 1, lines 18 and 19, strike "qualified health professional recruitment agency to expand efforts to recruit" and insert in lieu thereof "statewide nonprofit corporation that has a governing body representing the geographic areas and ethnic populations of the state and comprised of both health care providers and consumers and that is not a health care provider or association of health care providers, for the purpose of expanding recruitment of".

2. On page 1, line 22, after "statewide" insert a period and strike the remainder of the line and on line 23 strike "agencies.".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
