AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DEVELOPING PROGRAMS TO ADDRESS PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICT TRAINING NEEDS AT SAN JUAN COLLEGE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty-five thousand dollars ($155,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the governing board of San Juan college for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to develop programs to address public school district training needs, including license endorsements, alternative licensure, pre-teaching associate's degrees and alternative formats of delivery of associate's degree programs. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
