AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE NEW MEXICO OFFICE OF INDIAN AFFAIRS TO FUND PEACEMAKING AND HOME VISITING SERVICES FOR NATIVE AMERICAN YOUTH AND THEIR FAMILIES IN ALBUQUERQUE.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 to fund peacemaking and home visiting services for Native American youth and their families in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
