AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO NEW MEXICO STATE UNIVERSITY FOR A VITICULTURIST IN THE COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE OF THE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND HOME ECONOMICS.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for a viticulturist in the cooperative extension service to provide technical services to New Mexico's vineyards and wine industry. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
