AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A PINK BOLLWORM CONTROL PROGRAM.



BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 2004 for the New Mexico department of agriculture to match pink bollworm control districts' expenditures pursuant to the Pink Bollworm Control Act. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2004 shall revert to the general fund.
